FoxESS and Axle Partner to Boost Battery Earnings

FoxESS and Axle Energy partner to help customers earn more from their batteries

FoxESS, the UK’s leading provider of residential energy storage solutions, has partnered with Axle Energy to bring cutting-edge energy market expertise to FoxESS users. This partnership combines FoxESS’s high-quality hardware with Axle Energy’s deep integration into UK energy markets, allowing customers to earn cash by helping the grid regardless of their energy supplier or tariff.

Axle Energy operate the UK’s largest independent Virtual Power Plant (VPP), aggregating hundreds of thousands of distributed assets to provide flexibility to the grid in times of strain. FoxESS batteries are can now play their part, exporting energy when the grid is strained and soaking up excess renewables which would otherwise be wasted. Users benefit from full automation and are paid for the grid services they provide (£1/kWh and £10/month minimum until March 2026).

FoxESS and Axle Energy are also working closely with installers of FoxESS systems to help them demonstrate the additional value that the VPP can bring to users. Installers also benefit from a referral scheme, receiving £50 for each customer referred (sign up here!)
